FF UNAIR held the Kalbe Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Award (KPMA) 2026 in collaboration with PT Kalbe Farma Tbk. This activity, held on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Auditorium of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building, Campus C UNAIR, was attended by students from the Pharmacist Professional Education Program at FF UNAIR period 122 who are about to complete their professional education.
KPMA is an annual program from PT Kalbe Farma Tbk that serves as a talent search, career development, and competition platform for prospective pharmacist students. This program was designed to provide participants with the opportunity to become better acquainted with the pharmaceutical industry world while demonstrating the competencies they possess as preparation for entering the workforce.
Through this activity, students gained insights regarding pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, workplace culture in industry, and career development opportunities at one of Indonesia’s largest pharmaceutical companies. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to participate in a series of selection assessment processes that form part of the KPMA program as a form of appreciation for high-achieving prospective pharmacists.
The collaboration between FF UNAIR and PT Kalbe Farma Tbk represents shared commitment in preparing graduates who not only excel academically but also possess competence and readiness to contribute to the pharmaceutical industry world. The presence of programs such as KPMA is expected to bridge industry needs with graduate potential, creating professional, innovative, and globally-ready pharmaceutical human resources.
