The 2024 Airlangga Education Expo (AEE) activities officially closed on Saturday (3/2/2024). During the closing, awards were also announced for faculties with various nominations. Uniquely, the Faculty of Pharmacy again won 1st place in the nomination for the most informative booth.
This nomination is given to booths with good displays and delivery during the three days of the AEE 2024 event. It is not surprising because the Faculty of Pharmacy booth displays creative innovations by students and lecturers from various departments, such as the Department of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, Department of Pharmacy, Department of Clinical Pharmacy, and other.
“The innovations on display, especially the BHA (Bovine Hydroxyapatite), I think are very cool. Moreover, as the ambassadors said, this innovation also involves students. "I would be happy if I had the opportunity to take part in cool research like this," said one student when asked about his impression of the Faculty of Pharmacy booth.
“I really like the tamarind turmeric herbal medicine, Sis. Sweet, not bitter like others I've tried. "Moreover, this doesn't use artificial sweeteners, so it's safer and more suitable for the younger generation who are skeptical about herbal medicine," commented another student.
Apart from the award, Prof. apt. Junaidi Khotib, S.Sc., M.Kes, Ph.D. as Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) also announced the nominations for golden ticket recipients.
"Thank God, as many as 20 students from different high schools (SMA) have been selected as candidates to receive golden tickets. "Furthermore, the nominees should not forget to pray to get the best results," said Prof. Junaidi.
